I’m Janett, founder of JKD Express — but this business didn’t start with freight. It started with healing.
After my partner suffered a serious work injury and complicated surgery, he began a journey towards recovery. That path led us to something that changed our lives: plant-based living. What started as a way to help him heal quickly became a lifestyle that transformed us all.
For over 8 years now, we’ve been fully plant-based — and we’ve never felt more connected or alive. That experience inspired me to build a business that supports the same kinds of brands that helped us heal.
JKD Express specializes in LTL, cargo van, and reefer box truck shipping, especially for up-and-coming organic, vegan, and non-GMO food brands across NYC and the Tri-State area. Whether you're shipping plant-based goods or something else entirely, our promise is the same: we’ll handle it with care, intention, and respect.
